Malaysia Airlines Airbus A330-323 9M-MTI had the honors of operating the final Malaysia Airlines MH135/134 service into Brisbane tonight. The airport fire service was on hand to give the aircraft a traditional water canon salute.

Malaysia Airlines commenced flights into Brisbane on 01 November 1990 with Douglas DC-10 9M-MAV operated MH27 KUL/BNE/AKL. Since the airline has operated the Boeing 747-400, Boeing 777-200 and Airbus A330-200/300.
