It is with great sadness to report that the Beech Bonanza crashed shortly after take-off from Pago Pago in American Samoa. Haris Suleman, 17, was trying to complete a round the world flight in less than 30 days and was due back home in Indiana within days. Joining him was his father Babar Suleman, who is also a pilot. Investigators are still trying to locate the aircraft however emergency beacons were transmitting signals. A plane has been dispatched to help in the search for Babar Suleman.

Our condolenses to the family for the loss of Haris Suleman who was a promising young aviator and we hope Babar Suleman is found alive and well!
