Its chief executive, Geoff Bowmaker, says the new name will apply from August the 1st. He says the Our Airline name has served the company well for the past eight years but he says the new name recognises the proud history of Nauru's aviation and the natural and primary role of its airline in servicing the people of Nauru.
The change comes as the airline prepares to bring a 737 freight aircraft into service.

Philippine Airlines will expand its Australia Network by expanding services to Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin and Brisbane effective from October says its President.
PAL President and COO Ramon S. Ang said yesterday that it will also open back Perth to its route network.
The airline will fly daily direct services to Sydney, Melbourne, and Darwin while Brisbane and Perth will see three and four flights operating direct from Manila respectively while other flights operate via Darwin. Perth will be relaunched on the 27 of October.
The airline will operate a fleet of five Boeing 757-200 for this route leased from Boeing Capital Corporation until 2016 where it will be replaced by Airbus A321 NEO's.
PAL is also finalizing plan to launch services to Auckland via intermediate points in Australia.
A 3.5 star and a 5 star hotel both 9 and 10 storeys high, will be constructed over the next 20 months with a opening date planned for March 2016.
The new hotels at the domestic Terminal area will be at least 5-7 minutes closer than the current hotel.
BNE will finally have accommodation that is within walking distance from the Domestic Terminal and hopefully will be much used by passengers.
350 rooms will be available from both hotels when completed in 2016.
