Flashback: Concorde visits BNE
On this day in 1996, British Airways Concorde registration G-BOAF arrived into BNE enroute from Sydney to Guam on a round the world charter. The aircraft made a refuelling stop in Brisbane due to adverse weather conditions in Sydney. After approximately one hour on the ground, Concorde departed off runway 01 infront of hundreads of spectators bound for Guam with a cruise altitude of 64,000ft. A Seven news video of the event below:
