Brisbane Airport seeks F&B bids for forecourt.
Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) is inviting proposals to run food & beverage outlets in plaza areas outside the gateway’s domestic terminal. The two sites for the outlets – Plaza North and Plaza South – are at the base of travelators that connect the terminal with car parks and the train station.
Brisbane Airport aims to set up outlets that trade day and night, catering for ‘meeters and greeters’ as well as staff and travellers. The gateway is seeking tenants that can offer sit-down meals as well as packaged food and drinks – fresh juices, tea, barista coffee – to eat in or take away. Alcoholic drinks could be a future option, said BAC.
The fit out will have a Brisbane/Queensland theme and outdoor trading features such as shade, outdoor seating and temperature/glare sensitive space. This is the first time F&B tenancies are to be offered outside Brisbane Airport’s domestic terminal.
