Virgin's 50th VH-VBY retires

The 50th aircraft delivered to Virgin Blue Boeing 737-7FE VH-VBY msn 34323 was retired last night operating VA 981 from Sydney to Brisbane. The departure of VBY leaves only two Boeing 737-700s in the Virgin fleet VBV and VBZ. Below are some photos of the delivery of VBY at Brisbane on July 31st 2005 after it ferried in from Seattle via Honolulu and Nadi. A special 'blue' livery to celebrate the arrival of 50 aircraft was unveiled.
