This marks the first arrival of an Airbus A320 equipped with the new 2.4 meter high sharklets on the wingtips. The new sharklets certainly give the A320 a whole new look and are designed mainly to increase fuel efficiency and improve the lift-to-drag ratio. The aircraft is also Jetstar's 100th aircraft and features special artwork on the rear fuselage celebrating the occasion.
