Bundaberg Airlift

Due to rising flood waters in Bundaberg from ex tropical cyclone Oswald, the main hospital in Bundaberg is in threat of going under from the rising Burnett River. As a result a massive airlift has commenced involving the Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Flying Doctor Service and Careflight to evacuate patients to hospitals in Brisbane. Pictured below is the RAAF C-130J Hercules used on the flights between Brisbane and Bundaberg today.
